At this moment towards the end of this internship, I have written down my career plans that I want to achieve after my graduration so that I can have more job advantages in the future. Therefore, I had plan to continue my studies to get the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification after I had graduate. ACCA is a leading international accountancy body and it is recognised in other contries as being equivalent to their local qualifications. By completing this ACCA course, I will have a better employment prospects as a result of having shown an ability in all areas of business such as organisational management and strategy. Furthermore, I can also improve my career progression and have the potential to earn a high salary in the future.

After I had become a qualified accountant, I will then aim to work in one of the Big 4 audit firms such as Ernst and Young, PwC, Deloitte and KPMG. There are a few a number of career opportunities available for me to pursue. For example, there is a career to suit every interest including corporate accounting, internal audit, public accounting and tax services. In short, I can choose to work for companies of all sizes in areas such as financial accounting and reporting, management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and cash management if I choose to work in a corporate accounting department. Furthermore, I will also be responsible to record and analyze the financial information of the company which I work at.

Hence, I am interested to work in a tax service depatment in one of the Big 4 audit firm in the future. It is because I had learned "Malaysian Taxation" before and I had also learned how to compute the real property gained tax, goods and service tax (GST) and the company tax as well. Hence, I will have the chance to apply the knowledge that I had learned to help the companies and individuals to understand both national and international tax structures and align the tax function with the business objectives if I work in a tax service department. Furthermore, I will also be responsible to develop tax aligned compensation and benefits programmes that address the clients' global and domestic needs while managing tax effectivenss, risks and cots. Therefore, I must get a minimum requirement for the CGPA of 3.5 in order to get hired by the Big 4 audit firms. However, I have not achieve a CGPA of 3.5 in this moment. Hence, I have set a target and promise myself to work hard and get a good grade in the exam so that I can achieve my goal.

Lastly, in order for me to get hired in one of the Big 4 audit firms, working experience is an important aspects for a fresh graduate. Hence, I can gain some working experience during these three months internship. During these three months, I had gained the practical experience by applying the methods that I had learned in the class. Moreover, I had also develope some new skills such as the leadership skills, communication skills and problem solving skills by learning my strengths and weakness from the feedback that was given by my supervisor.

At the end of my internship, I am also required to submit the evaluation form to my company's supervisor to evaluate my performance of works, communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness, problem solving and devision making skills, planning and organisation skills, learning and potential growth. Furthermore, my supervisor also had given me some feedback on the areas that I need to improve so that I can perform better in my future job.

Firstly, I have to improve my communication skills because my company's supervisor had told me that I am a shy person who afraid to talk to someone and give some comments on what I feel about a particular job. Therefore, I need to improve my communication skills by using some body language such as keeping my arms uncrossed and maintaining an eye contact with the person I am talking to. By using these nonverbal communication, it can help me to connect with others and navigate the challenging solutions at the same time. Besides, I should also try not to interupt the speaker in the middle of the conversation or redirect the conversation to my own concerns. Listening is also one of the most important aspects of an effective communication because it can make the speaker feel heard and understood which can help to build a stronger connection between both of us. Moreover, when I am stressed, I will most likely to misread other people and send confusing or off-putting nonverbal signals. Therefore, I must learn how to compromise with others to relieve my stress.

Secondly, I will also need to improve my observation skills because my company's supervisor had told me that I usually did not aware of my surrounding. In the workplace, a good employee not only listens well but is also aware of what is happening around them. Hence, I need to retrain my brain to pay attention to what's important at that moment. However, if we paid attention to everything, we will tend to miss out what is important. In addition, I can also improve my observation skills by challenging myself to pay attention to new things. For instance, I can try to spend some time to watch others in the crowded areas by looking at how they act in crowded spaces and how they interact with others. Besides, I must also learn how to watch people better. Most of us are pretty good at observing during high-tension situations, whether it's during a fight or a job interview but we slack off during the everyday interactions.

Thirdly, I will also need to learn how to become a more detail-oriented person. My company's supervisor had told me that I does not know how to present my work effectively and always make some careless mistakes on the work that I had done. Therefore, she had advised me to develop a plan that I will consistently use such as spreadsheets or a workflow charts. By creating this system, I can make sure that I did not overlooked or forgotten to perform a particular tasks in my daily duties. In addition, I can also develop a system of checks and balances and ask my colleague to double-check my work. Hence, it is important to have a habit of using the checklist at the completion of every task to ensure that I did not repeat the details. Moreover, I can also learn how to manage my time effectively by estimating how long I need to take to perform that particular task. Hence, I should avoid the distractions such as constantly checking the emails or surfing the internet to affect my quality of work.
